Event Description
From “Society’s Child” to folk legend, Janis Ian is an artist for all time. Since her breakout hits of the Sixties (“Society’s Child”, “At Seventeen”) Ian’s incredibly personal songs of social change rank her, with Bob Dylan, as the voice of a generation. Now, as an author, activist and passionate musician, her live performances, rich with storytelling, are called “overwhelming to the spirit and soul.” KU Presents! welcomes this nine-time GRAMMY nominee to Ursa Minor’s Cafe for an intimate performance.
